Rebecca Thompson RSHom
After a life long interest in homeopathy and seeing the success of
Dr Adriana Marian in helping her treat her own five children
Rebecca was encouraged to qualify as a homeopath. After four years of formal study at the London School of Classical Homeopathy and treating students at Roehampton University under supervision she qualified in June 2006 and was invited to join Drakefield Homeopathy on its move from Balham to Putney in 2006.
She believes that there are many conditions that can be more gently treated with homeopathy than with conventional drugs although there is also a place for homeopathic treatment alongside conventional medication. Because homeopathy is gentle, holistic and non-invasive and does not leave side effects it is very well suited for treating babies, children, the elderly and vulnerable.
Although Rebecca enjoys treating all age groups and conditions, she has had particular successs with the elderly.
Rebecca regularly attends talks and seminars to keep up with the latest homeopathic thinking and is also working as a trained post-natal doula.
