The Upper Richmond Road will be One Way for traffic flow toward
Putney High Street from the Dryburgh Road junction to Ravenna Road.
Traffic going West will be subject to a long diversion via Tibetts Corner and Roehamption Lane!
Traffic from Wandsworth should come by Putney Bridge Road, Lower Richmond Road and Erpingham Road.
Traffic from Richmond should come on the Upper Richmond Road, Queen's Ride and Erpingham Road.
By Bus
The
22 Bus from Sloane Square stops at Putney Common on the Lower
Richmond Road (3 minutes). The
485 and the
265 also stop here.
The
337 and
430 stop on the Upper Richmond Road by the Dryburgh
Leisure Centre (3 minutes walk). Many other buses stop on Putney High Street (10 minutes walk).
By Tube
East Putney and Putney Bridge - District line both about 20 mins walk. From
East Putney you can
take 337 (to Putney Leisure Centre) and from Putney Bridge 22 Bus or 265 Bus (to Putney Common).
By Rail
Putney or Barnes Railway stations (12 minutes walk).
By Car
WARNING: The entry to Dryburgh Road from the
Upper Richmond Road is blocked off to cars until 10am
on weekday mornings, but you can approach from the Lower Richmond Road via
Erpingham Road at any time.
You can park in Dryburgh Road after 10.30am (parking restrictions only apply from 9.30-10.30am
Monday-Friday. Before 10.30am you can Pay and Display in
Clarendon Drive - £1.80 an hour - 2 minutes walk).
You can also cross the footbridge over the railway from Dyers Lane to
Dryburgh Road (although this is not shown on the map below).
